Cobian 9 Installation Instructions
After you have downloaded the Cobian 9 install file, double-click the file. Click “Run” on the security warning that pops up.
Select your install language and click “OK”.
Read the license agreement and check the box for “I accept the conditions” and click “Next” to continue.
Select the install location, the default the install program chooses for you is generally sufficient.
Choose an installation type, for most situations the default install type (pictured below) is sufficient. If you will be backing up to a network location, choose the radio button for “install under the account” and then enter the user name and password for the network location. Warning: the user name and password you use must also have authority on your local machine for “log on as a service”.
If you choose the default install this warning will appear, you may click on “Yes” to continue.
At this point the install will commence, when it has completed you will receive the success message below, click “Done”.
